Meanwhile, Rihanna went a step further, wearing a rectangular retro pair on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. She never misses an opportunity to show her preference for particularly small sunglasses, mainly in an extreme cat-eye shape.

And if there was ever the slightest doubt that 1990s sunglasses are back in fashion, the biggest Instagram influencer, Kim Kardashian, recently revealed that from now on she will only wear small sunglasses, along with a total Yeezy look at her appearances.

In the most recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim explains that she will only wear small sunglasses in the near future — and it is obvious this has to do with her rapper husband and Yeezy designer, Kanye West.

The rapper, designer, record producer and part-time stylist made it clear to his wife in an email that read: "You can't wear big glasses anymore. It's all about tiny little glasses."
